Discography
Welcome
to the Discography pages of JARRE UK.
During Jean Michel's tour of China in 1981, set about recording this album
containing the best moments from the China concerts.
The album itself contains around 45 minutes of new music (for that time)
in which Jean Michel specially composed for the concerts - especially
the now famour 'Souvenir of China', which is now played at almost every
concert that he performs.
At the time of the album's first CD release, it was presented in a double
CD case, with a Red cover - which was the main design used for many years
after.
In the early 90's, the album was re-published on 2 seperate CDs and were
sold seperately; one had a Blue cover (Volume 1) and the other had a Yellow
cover (Volume 2). Recently though, Sony re-published the album again in
a single CD format, as a 24bit digital Remaster, and with the original
Red cover that was originally used for it's original release.
