Welcome to the Discography pages of JARRE UK.

The Hong Kong 'live' album represents quite an interesting item - especially in the fact that the majority of the album wasn't even recorded at the Hong Kong concert!

In all honesty, this album is more-or-less a 'Best of Europe In Concert' as the majority of the tracks were recorded from the European tour Jarre performed during 1993, around most of Europe's major cities. The only really true Hong Kong track on this album would be Fishing Junks at Sunset - but even this was recorded from the rehearsals and not the actual performance itself.

Also (probably due to a lack of CD space) Rendez-vous 2 is also missing from this album - which was actually played during the concert.

Lately though, with the Sony Remasters, the album was Remastered on the Epic label and can now be found on a single CD format (unlike the original 2 CD release) - but in order for Sony to fit the album onto one CD, they unfortunately had to discard the first part of Fishing Junks at Sunset, but with the remastering process, it gives the album a much more clear sound to it all.
