ALESSANDRO FANTINI: SPIRACULA (OXYGENE 1976-2006)

JANUARY 28TH: Last month, JARRE UK received a NEW Artwork from the Italian Painter, Alessandro Fantini, who is featured in Jean Michel Jarre's 'AERO' Album Booklet, painting his 2003 Oil on Wood Masterpiece, 'OBE'.

Alessandro Fantini's NEW Artwork, entitled 'SPIRACULA (OXYGENE 1976-
2006)', was a 50cm x 70cm Oil on Canvas, inspired by the 30th Anniversary of Jean Michel Jarre's 'OXYGENE' Album and Jean Michel Jarre's recent 'WATER FOR LIFE' Concert, which he kindly donated to JARRE UK as an Exclusive for our Jean Michel Jarre Artwork Gallery...Click Here For More

Alessandro Fantini described his NEW Artwork to JARRE UK as "creating a visual link between the two concepts of 'OXYGENE' & 'WATER FOR LIFE', keeping the minimalist approach of Granger's covers and Jarre's music".

Alessandro Fantini has now sent JARRE UK a 1 Minute Video, authorised for use on JARRE UK by Jean Michel Jarre's Management, which he has created as a 'special tribute' to the 30th Anniversary of Jean Michel Jarre's 'OXYGENE' Album. Based around his NEW Artwork, the 1 Minute Windows Media Video File (WMV), shows his painting through it's various stages of development, accompanied by a 'special transitional mix' of Jean Michel Jarre's 'OXYGENE' Album (Parts 1-6) (Requires Windows Media Player):-

JANUARY 18TH: Belgian High-Definition TV Channel HD-1 (www.hd-1.tv) is to broadcast 'JEAN MICHEL JARRE: WATER FOR LIFE', a 2 1/2 Hour High-
Definition broadcast of Jean Michel Jarre's 'WATER FOR LIFE' Concert, in the Sand Dunes of the Sahara Desert, Merzouga, Morocco on December 16th 2006, from 20:00 (8pm) (CET) on January 20th 2007, and repeated from 00:00 (Midnight), 4:00, 8:00, 12:00 & 16:00 (4pm) (CET) on January 21st 2007.

JANUARY 11TH: Jean Michel Jarre's Management confirmed to JARRE UK today, that Jean Michel Jarre has now completed his NEW Studio Album.

The NEW 13 Track Studio Album is currently scheduled to be released by Warner Music France on March 26th 2007, the first of two planned Singles from which, will be released in a few weeks time...WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

JANUARY 1ST: Lina Panova, JARRE UK's Reporter at Jean Michel Jarre's 'WATER FOR LIFE' Concert, near Merzouga, Morocco, on December 16th 2006, has exclusively sent JARRE UK her own 11 Minute Video Edit of the Concert, as a Special Happy New Year Gift for all Jean Michel Jarre Fans.

The 11 Minute Video Edit, authorised for use on JARRE UK by Jean Michel Jarre's Management, was taken from the Restaurant on the Second Floor of the Merzouga Hotel in Merzouga, and is now available to be viewed or downloaded in the following 2 Real Media Videos (Requires Real Player):-
