JULY 30TH: TicketPro Polska (www.ticketpro.pl) have confirmed to JARRE UK today, that VIP Tickets for Jean Michel Jarre's forthcoming Concert, for the 25th Anniversary of Solidarity, in Gdansk Shipyards, Gdansk, Poland, on August 26th 2005, have been unfortunately delayed again, and will NOT be available on Monday 1st August 2005, as was originally planned.

TicketPro Polska have also confirmed, that there has been no new date set for the sale of VIP Tickets, and therefore, at this moment in time, VIP Tickets will not be available until further notice...WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

JULY 30TH: Warner Music Poland have confirmed to JARRE UK, that Jean Michel Jarre's planned Press Conference in Warsaw on Wednesday 3rd August 2005, to officially announce the Gdansk Concert, will take place at TVP's Headquarters in Warsaw, from 14:00 (2pm) (Local Time), after which Jean Michel Jarre will hold a Signing Session at the Empik Megastore in Warsaw from 17:00-18:00 (5pm-6pm) (Local Time)...WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

JULY 29TH: TicketPro Polska (www.ticketpro.pl) have confirmed to JARRE UK today, that VIP Tickets for Jean Michel Jarre's forthcoming Concert, for the 25th Anniversary of Solidarity, in Gdansk Shipyards, Gdansk, Poland, on August 26th 2005, did not go on-sale today, as was originally planned, as they have been unfortunately delayed, until Monday 1st August 2005.

JULY 26TH: TicketPro Polska (www.ticketpro.pl), as promised, have issued the following statement to JARRE UK this evening, confirming that Tickets for Jean Michel Jarre's forthcoming Concert, for the 25th Anniversary of Solidarity, in the Gdansk Shipyards, Gdansk, Poland, on August 26th 2005, will be available from tomorrow, from around 11:00 (11am) (Local Time):-

"Ticketpro Polska (www.ticketpro.pl) proudly announce the start of ticket sale for Jean Michel Jarre's show in the Gdansk Shipyard on August 26th.

The ticket sale will start at 11.00am (CET) on Wednesday 27th July, in nearly 80 outlets all over Poland. From Monday 1st August, the sale will also start in Hungarian (www.ticketpro.hu) and Czech (www.ticketpro.cz) Ticketpro companies.

There will be about 100,000 general admission tickets in 3 price categories:

66 PLN=15,90 Euro (for sectors A1, A2 and A3)
55 PLN=13,25 Euro (for sectors B1 and B2)
33 PLN=7,95 Euro (for sectors C1 and C2)

Higher ticket prices are for sectors located nearer the stage. There will also be a special reserved seats sector with tickets for 250 PLN=60,25 Euro, but these tickets will not be on sale until Friday 29th July.

To make access to the show easier, there will be different gates for suitable sectors. Every concert participant will get a wristband, proper for his sector. Removal of the wristband by participant's own hand can be the reason for moving the participant away from the venue, as is also leaving their sector.

A detailed map with the venue plan, including the sectors and gates, will be sent to you (JARRE UK) tomorrow.

For all Jean Michel Jarre fans all over the world, a special contingent of tickets will be reserved, that will be available at the Ticketpro webshop at: (www.ticketpro.pl). To purchase tickets in the webshop, either a VISA or MASTERCARD is neccessary. Every ticket will be distributed by priority recommended letters. The reserved seats will also be available in the webshop. Please Note: One person can purchase no more then 8 tickets.

Please Note: There appears to be some changes to the Ticket Prices since yesterday's announcement, as Tickets that were priced at 44 Zloty and 55 Zloty each, appear to be now priced at 55 Zloty and 66 Zloty respectively.

JULY 26TH: Jean Michel Jarre's 'JARRE IN CHINA' DVD has dropped in the Official Hungarian Music DVD Chart to Number 3, after only its sixth week of release, climbed in the Official Slovakian Music DVD Chart back up to Number 1, after only its fifth week of release, and dropped in the Official Dutch Music DVD Chart to Number 19, after only its ninth week of release.

JULY 25TH: TicketPro Polska (www.ticketpro.pl) have confirmed to JARRE UK today, that Tickets for Jean Michel Jarre's forthcoming Concert for the 25th Anniversary of Solidarity, in the Gdansk Shipyards, Gdansk, Poland, on August 26th 2005, should be available from Wednesday 27th July 2005.

According to TicketPro Polska, most of the Ticket Prices have now been finalised, with the exception of VIP Tickets, as both the Ticket Price and amount of VIP Tickets that will be available, have still yet to be decided.

Tickets will be priced at 33, 44, 55 Zloty (approximately 5.50, 7.40, 9.25 UK Pounds or 8.0, 10.7, 13.4 Euros) for Zones C, B and A respectively. Exactly where these Zones relate to the Gdansk Shipyard Concert Site, is unclear at this moment in time, but TicketPro Polska have assured JARRE UK, that this information will be available later this week...WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

JULY 22ND: TicketPro Polska (www.ticketpro.pl) have confirmed to JARRE UK today, that Tickets for Jean Michel Jarre's forthcoming Concert for the 25th Anniversary of Solidarity, in the Gdansk Shipyards, Gdansk, Poland, on August 26th 2005, should be available from the middle of next week.

Several Polish Newspapers have announced that Tickets will be on sale from Monday 25th July 2005, but TicketPro Polska confirmed to JARRE UK today, that they have yet to finalise the Ticket Prices, and the amount of Tickets that will be available. Therefore it is impossible for Tickets to go on sale until these decisions have been finalised...WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

JULY 21ST: Jean Michel Jarre's 'JARRE IN CHINA' DVD has maintained its position in the Official Slovakian Music DVD Chart at Number 3, after only fourth week of release, but has dropped out of the Top 20 in the Official Greek Music DVD Chart, after only fifth week of release in most of Europe.

JULY 19TH: Jean Michel Jarre's 'JARRE IN CHINA' DVD has climbed in the Official Hungarian Music DVD Chart to Number 1, and dropped out of the Top 10 in Official Norwegian Music DVD Chart, after fifth week of release.

Jean Michel Jarre's 'JARRE IN CHINA' DVD has also climbed in the Official Dutch Music DVD Chart to Number 16, after only eighth week of release.

JULY 14TH: Jean Michel Jarre's 'JARRE IN CHINA' DVD has now dropped in the Official Slovakian Music DVD Chart to Number 3, after only its third week of release, and has now dropped in the Official Greek Music DVD Chart to Number 20, after only fourth week of release in most of Europe.

JULY 13TH: Jean Michel Jarre's 'JARRE IN CHINA' DVD has dropped in the Official Norwegian Music DVD Chart to Number 7, and dropped out of the Top 20 in Official Italian Music DVD Chart, after its fourth week of release.

JEAN MICHEL JARRE: POLAND CONCERT CONFIRMED

JULY 9TH: Jean Michel Jarre's Management have confirmed to JARRE UK today, that Jean Michel Jarre's proposed Concert for the 25th Anniversary of the Solidarity Union, in the Gdansk Shipyards, Gdansk, Poland, has now been officially confirmed, after all contracts were signed yesterday.

As we previously reported, Jean Michel Jarre's Management travelled to Warsaw this week, to resume negotiations with the relevant parties after the Kontakt Agency (Concert Promoters) resigned from the project, this week after failing to reach a compromise with TVP (Polish National TV).

Jean Michel Jarre's Management have confirmed, that the 2-Hour Concert will now take place as planned, but a day earlier, on August 26th 2005, for an estimated audience of 100,000 people. TVP (Polish National TV) have also confirmed that they will televise the Concert 'LIVE' on Channel TVP1.

Tickets for Jean Michel Jarre's Concert are expected to go on-sale, for an estimated amount of 30 Zloty (about 5 UK Pounds or 7.5 Euros), after Jean Michel Jarre has held a Press Conference in Warsaw, at the beginning of August 2005, to officially announce the Concert...WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

JULY 6TH: Jean Michel Jarre's Management have confimed to JARRE UK today, that despite recent announcements by Polish Television and Polish Newspapers that Jean Michel Jarre's Concert in Gdansk, Poland has been cancelled, Jean Michel Jarre's Concert in Gdansk, Poland has NOT been cancelled, and negotiations are resuming in Warsaw as from tomorrow.

Jean Michel Jarre's Management issued the following Press Release to JARRE UK today, to give detailed information to Jean Michel Jarre Fans:-

"We would like to inform that on the 7th-8th July 2005, in Warsaw, there are to take place talks to finalize the preparations of the special concert of Jean Michel Jarre that is planned to be held on 27th August this year as the main artistic event of the 25th anniversary of signing the August Accords and the establishment of the Free Trade Union 'Solidarnosc'.

The City of Gdansk Foundation, Polish Public Television and the Lech Walesa Institute have managed to resume the negotiations regarding the organization of the concert, and the deadlock of this unique event has now been broken.

Jean Michel Jarre's Manager, Ms Fiona Commins, has immediately took up the talks to finalize the project and is working with great enthusiasm in order to sign the contract and to start the technical preparations.

The President of the Lech Walesa Institute, Piotr Gulczynski, spoke to Jean Michel Jarre's Management yesterday, and the interested entities along with Polish Public Television will reopen the talks tomorrow."

Despite this new development, Jean Michel Jarre's Management are still recommending that all Jean Michel Jarre Fans do not book any Flights or Accomodation until they issue another statement...WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
