STOP PRESS: POWERSTOCK CONCERT CANCELLED!!!

JULY 20TH: Jean Michel Jarre's Management have confirmed to JARRE UK this morning, that Jean Michel Jarre's planned Outdoor Concert at the Powerstock Festival in the Parco Eolico Di Albanella Windmill Park, in Salerno, Italy on July 26th 2007, has of today, been officially cancelled:-

"Due to events beyond our control, Jean Michel Jarre and our production team are forced to cancel our participation at the Powerstock Festival in Salerno next July 26th.

The Powerstock Festival organisers cannot commit to their engagement of Jean Michel Jarre and our production.

Jean Michel Jarre is greatly saddened by this very unfortunate situation, especially regarding you all and moreover those who have made travel arrangements from afar: this is indeed the first time in his career where he is subjected to endure such a decision.

We were really looking forward to sharing this event with you...

Since the Official Statement was released this afternoon, JARRE UK has been in contact with the Powerstock Festival Organisers, who are hoping to reverse this unfortunate situation. Whether they are successful or not in their resolution, we have agreed to assist them in helping to provide all the necessary information required for Fans who have already purchased Tickets for this Concert, to obtain a FULL refund...WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

JARRE UK: THE OXYGENIUS PROJECT - HELP WANTED!!!

JULY 13TH: The JARRE UK Team is currently working on a project for the 30th Anniversary of Jean Michel Jarre's 'OXYGENE' Album, which we have entitled 'OXYGENIUS', which we intend to give to Jean Michel Jarre later this year, as a gift from the JARRE UK Team and Jean Michel Jarre Fans.

JARRE UK would therefore like to kindly ask for your assistance in making this project possible. 'OXYGENIUS' is designed to be a special multimedia presentation, that will act as a souvenir of Jean Michel Jarre's 'OXYGENE' Album, featuring Photographs, Newspaper & Magazine Articles from the time of the Album's launch, to Photographs and Articles from Jean Michel Jarre Fans, illustrating what 'OXYGENE' means to them today, either from a musical perspective or from an environmental perspective, a topic that has become a very high-profile subject in the world these last few years.

JARRE UK would also like to invite Jean Michel Jarre Fans to send in their own Artwork inspired by 'OXYGENE', and once we have all the facilities in place, we would also like to invite Jean Michel Jarre Fans to send in their own Cover Versions/Remixes of Tracks taken from the 'OXYGENE' Album.

At the moment, as this project is in it's early stages, JARRE UK would like to ask Jean Michel Jarre Fans to concentrate on assisting with sending in Photographs, Newspaper & Magazine Articles from the time of the launch of 'OXYGENE' in 1976/1977, and sending in your personal Photographs that represent what 'OXYGENE' means to you, a similiar idea as to what Jean Michel Jarre conducted for the sleeve notes of his 'AERO' Album in 2004.

JEAN MICHEL JARRE: POWERSTOCK FESTIVAL UPDATE

JULY 10TH: Jean Michel Jarre's Management & Powerstock Festival have confirmed to JARRE UK today, that Jean Michel Jarre's Outdoor Concert at the Powerstock Festival in the Parco Eolico Di Albanella Windmill Park, in Salerno, near Naples, Italy on Thursday 26th July 2007, is confirmed to be a 90 Minutes Concert, which will start at around 21:00 (9pm) (Local Time).

Jean Michel Jarre will perform Classic Tracks from 'OXYGENE' to 'AERO', aswell as a few Tracks from his NEW 'TÉO & TÉA' Album, accompanied on Stage by the French Musician Claude Samard and Dutch DJ Tim Hüfken.

Tickets are on sale now, priced at 45 Euros (about £30.50), available from either the Official Powerstock Web-Site (www.powerstock.org) or Official Powerstock MySpace Web-Site (www.myspace.com/powerstockfestival).

JULY 5TH: Jean Michel Jarre's Management have confirmed to JARRE UK today, that Jean Michel Jarre's forthcoming second Single from his NEW 'TÉO & TÉA' Album, 'VINTAGE', is planned to be released July 16th 2007.

The 4 Track 'VINTAGE' Single will feature Jean Michel Jarre's Radio Edit and Extended Version of the Track, plus 2 additional Remixes by an, as yet undisclosed, Guest Artist, which will be released digitally on Apple's iTunes Music Stores, with downloadable Artwork...WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
