'AKROPOLIS' PHOTOBOOK UPDATE

20TH: ELPIDA
(Friend's Association of Children with Cancer) have announced that they
can now accept Credit Card Payments for their Official Photobook of Jean
Michel Jarre's 'AKROPOLIS' Concerts, held at the Odeion of Herodes Atticus
in Athens, Greece on June 19th & 20th 2001.
The Official Photobook is priced at 75 Euros (approximately £50).
If you wish to purchase a copy, you should E-Mail Christiana Giannakopoulou
at elpida@hellasnet.gr with your
Name and Address, how many copies you require, and your method of Payment
(Credit Card or Bank Transfer).
If you choose to pay by Credit Card, JARRE UK advises that you Phone or
Fax your Credit Card details to ELPIDA, and strongly discourages you sending
your Credit Card details by E-Mail. ELPIDA can be contacted by Phone on

'AERÓ' CONCERTS UPDATE
 
JUNE
16TH: The
Press Conference for Jean Michel Jarre's 'AERÓ' Concert, scheduled for
June 18th 2002 in Aalborg, Denmark, has been postponed.
The Press Conference was expected to confirm the 'AERÓ' Concert Ticket
Price, which has been reported to be around 200 Danish Kroner (about £17
or 37 Euros), and also confirm where and when Tickets would be on sale
for the 'AERÓ' Concert, a Concert that is just under 12 Weeks away!!!
The Press Conference is now expected to take place Late June-Early July
2002, but at this moment in time, no Official Date has been announced.

MICHEL JARRE TO HOST IFPI PLATINUM AWARDS
JUNE
1ST: Jean
Michel Jarre is to host the 4th Biennial IFPI Platinum Europe Awards,
for Artists who achieve European Sales of 1 Million Records, at the Hotel
Le Plaza in Brussels, Belgium on July 10th 2002.
Jean Michel Jarre received a Special Award at the 3rd Biennial IFPI Platinum
Awards in July 2000, for an exceptional contribution to the European Music
Industry, and is "delighted to come back to Brussels for the fourth
time for the IFPI Platinum Europe Awards, a unique event that shows the
very best that the European Music Industry has to offer."
Artists performing LIVE at the Awards Ceremony include British R&B
Band 'BLUE', whose Debut Album 'ALL RISE' achieved Platinum Status, and
Finnish Dance Group 'BOMFUNK MCs', whose Single 'FREESTYLER' will receive
a Platinum Award, the first for a Single, for achieving European Sales
of 2 Million, despite a general downturn in European Single Sales.
Other Artists who will receive Platinum Awards include the Scottish Band
'TEXAS', French Singer Helena Segara, Italian Singer Laura Pausini, German
Rock Star 'WESTERNHAGEN', and Belgian Singer Axelle Red.
