OCTOBER 10TH: 'JARRELOOK', The UK Jean Michel Jarre Tribute Band, have informed JARRE UK that they are well into the process of planning a performance, at an as yet undisclosed venue, in the UK mid-next year:-

"'JARRELOOK', The UK Jean Michel Jarre Tribute Band, is looking at playing at a venue with very easy access on a date as yet unconfirmed next year. The only reason why we are not prepared to say where and when, is because we have not signed on the dotted line at this moment in time.

Despite how it might look from the outside, we have not spent our time since the Haslingden Charity Show last year doing absolutely nothing, we've actually been very active, and now have at least four new numbers ready for the next show, and two more numbers in the prototype stage.

The old set running order has been changed around totally, and several of the numbers have been improved or altered in one way or another, some to make them closer to Jean Michel Jarre's originals, and some because we were not satisfied with them in their form at that time. We do hope that you will enjoy these revamps when we perform them live at the next show.

We have also been working very hard on developing new visual aspects of the show, because we feel that the visuals are every bit as important a part of the overall experience as the music. We don't want to give too much away at this time, but we've spent a significant amount of money on one particular piece of hardware, that is now well into the development stage.

In addition to that, we hope to be able to provide new visual effects on stage, not least an improved method of live image delivery to the big screen, so that you can see what we are playing, far better than previously.

Due to past constraints imposed on us both by public safety considerations and by hot fallout from pyrotechnics, we have always had to site our performance zone rather far back on stage. To get round this, we have had to reduce the overall amount of pyrotechnics for the next show by taking away anything centre stage. However, do not despair, we will not dispense with the pyrotechnics, only those that are usually situated in front of us.

This will give you the advantage of being able to book front row seats directly through us, and also gives you the opportunity to register your name for any pre-show get together that we may consider setting up in conjunction with JARRE UK.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
