SEPTEMBER 21ST: Jean Michel Jarre's 'OXYGEN IN MOSCOW' Concert at the Moscow State University in Moscow, Russia on September 6th 1997 is to be released on DVD, for the first time in Europe, by the German Media Company, Inakustik (www.in-akustik.com) on Friday 28th September 2007.

'JEAN MICHEL JARRE: OXYGENE IN MOSCOW', licensed from Sony BMG Music Entertainment UK, features a 1 Hour 1 Second Edit of Jean Michel Jarre's Record-Breaking 'OXYGEN IN MOSCOW' Concert, and a 23 Minutes 40 Seconds Edit of the original 53 Minutes 'MAKING THE STEAMROLLER FLY' Documentary, entitled 'THE MAKING OF OXYGENE IN MOSCOW', all presented in a 4:3 Ratio, with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound & DTS 5.1 Surround Sound, on a PAL Region 2 DVD (Catalogue Number: INAK 6071 DVD). Jean Michel Jarre's 'OXYGEN IN MOSCOW' Concert attracted the World's Largest Audience for a Solo Artist when an audience of around 3.5 Million people witnessed him perform outside the Moscow State University, in the Vorobievy Hills, Moscow, Russia to celebrate Moscow's 850th Anniversary.

'FRANCIS RIMBERT: SNAP SHOTS' - NEW STUDIO ALBUM

SEPTEMBER 15TH: Francis Rimbert has confirmed to JARRE UK this week, that he has now completed his eagerly awaited, forthcoming NEW Studio Album, 'SNAP SHOTS', which he is now expecting to be released on the C.ZEN PROD Label (www.czenprod.com) on Wednesday 3rd October 2007.

'SNAP SHOTS', a Concept Album that aims to document the day in the life of a musician, has taken almost 2 years to conceive, and based on what JARRE UK has already experienced from 'SNAP SHOTS', through Francis Rimbert's recent Summer Parisian performances, it is well worth the wait.

Francis Rimbert has confirmed that 'SNAP SHOTS' will contain 11 Tracks, 8 Tracks of which have already been performed 'LIVE' during Showcases and Concerts in Paris, Suresnes and Croissy-Sur-Seine in September 2006 and June 2007 respectively. The Official Tracklisting will be as follows:-

JARRE UK recently spoke to Francis Rimbert about the completion of his NEW Studio Album, and here is what he had to say about 'SNAP SHOTS':-

"The concept of this new album is contained within the title. Compared to 'DOUBLE FACE', where the general mood is down-tempo, 'SNAP SHOTS' is completely different, aware, more extrovert.

I composed and wrote this album in a very different style: within a day we have to face up consciously or unconsciously to moods and feelings which are diametrically opposed from one hour to the other, and carried by this idea, I worked on the tempos and focused on the styles, whilst keeping the thread of time.

According to my inspiration, before I begun to write and compose 'SNAP SHOTS', I already made the choice among my best friends (obviously, I speak about my keyboards surrounding me in my studio!). I perfectly know the influence which an instrument can have on the realization, the colour of a composition.

I do not use an instrument for what it is, but for what it evokes me at that specific moment. I mean if I used the Mellotron for example, it is not a choice to surf on the 'revival/vintage' fashion, but because in my studio, this sound was unconsciously essential, translating a feeling at this precise time.

I do not believe the truth exists within an instrument, but rather in the magic of a meeting - just like a love story between an artist and his instrument - Don’t care about the bottle as long as we get drunk!. After a long discussion with myself, who I share the same opinion frequently, we agreed on my set:

discussion...all we can live every day.

I'm very proud and honoured to share my feelings with you in this album...I hope you will enjoy it."

Francis Rimbert's Management have also confirmed, that the forthcoming DVD of Francis Rimbert's Concert at the 26th Fête De La Musique Festival in Croissy-Sur-Seine, Paris, France on June 23rd 2007, is now planned to be released in November 2007. JEAN MICHEL JARRE: POWERSTOCK TICKET REFUNDS

SEPTEMBER 14TH: The Powerstock Festival Organisers have once again contacted JARRE UK, in response to JARRE UK's notification to them, that there are still many Fans who purchased Tickets for the cancelled Jean Michel Jarre Concert at the Powerstock Festival in Salerno, Italy on July 26th 2007, who despite purchasing Tickets through PayPal, and promised refunds almost a month ago, have still not received their Ticket refunds.

Carlo Brancati, Artistic Director of the Powerstock Festival spoke to JARRE UK today, explaining that although many Fans had received their refunds as promised, there were still some Fans who they had not been able to refund as of yet, due to an unforeseen problem with their PayPal account.

As a result of this, the Powerstock Festival Organisers have contacted all those Fans affected by E-Mail, requesting them to send their Bank Details, in order for them to refund those Fans affected by Bank Transfer instead.

However, since these requests were made, there have been some other financial issues, beyond the Powerstock Festival Organisers' control, and therefore the Powerstock Festival Organisers have issued this statement:-

"In response to concern regarding the refunding of tickets for the cancelled Jean Michel Jarre show, we would like to assure all concerned that this is our top priority.

Most of you have already been refunded but at present there is some delay in refunding the remainder of you. We are still waiting for a large part of the funds to come-in from certain sponsors (including from the Province of Salerno, a very 'slow' institution as far as burocracies are concerned), and as soon as the next payment comes through, all remaining refunds will be made. We would say 1 month to be sure.

Some of you have expressed concern over providing your bank details so we are looking into an alternative solution for this particular matter and will come back to you with a proposal in the next few days.

SEPTEMBER 6TH: Warner Music France have contacted JARRE UK today, in response to JARRE UK's notification to them, that we have received a lot of correspondence from Fans worldwide, who although winners of the 'TÉO & TÉA' Challenge on Jean Michel Jarre's Official 'TÉO & TÉA' Web-
Site (www.teo-tea.com), have yet to receive their prizes, despite both the competition ending and the winners revealed, on Thursday 31st May 2007.

Warner Music France have apologised for the delay, sighting an oversight for the problem, which meant that only the top prizes had currently been shipped out to winners, but now that JARRE UK has made them aware of the problem, they will begin shipping the remaining prizes immediately.

Warner Music France also confirmed, that despite the rules of the 'TÉO & TÉA' Challenge indicating that the competition was exclusively available for French Citizens only, this is not true, and all winners will be honoured, no matter which country they are from. The only problem they have had with this decision, is that the Sony Ericsson i-mode Mobile Phones offered as prizes, would only work on the French Mobile Networks, and therefore, where applicable, they have replaced this prize with a Sony DVD Player.
